'Spilt' is about taking a deep dive into a bowl of colourful nostalgia. Sometimes it feels like things don't quite have the same magic as they once did. What I'm trying to do with my work is to capture that magic and excitement that something may have once had and really celebrate that on canvas. I think it's important to relish in the simple joys of life sometimes, and channel our child-like selves.
