About the artwork:
"One afternoon as the sun was setting and a storm was starting to brew, I took a photo alongside the Maroochy river. This has always been a photo I've always been drawn to for some reason- something about the atmosphere I managed to capture. So, many years later I finally decided to paint it. When I look at this artwork, I reflect upon how I often felt when I frequently drove past this very spot along the Maroochy River years ago. There's many emotions rolled up in those clouds and yet, I've found some beauty in it all."
Original artwork was created using gouache on watercolour paper.
