About Open Studios | Colour of October is participating this year!

Basically: a bunch of artists who work on the Sunshine Coast will be opening their studios up to the public.

The guys at Arts Connect have hooked us all up and have mapped out all these artists studios and created art trails. 

The trail guides can be found in the official Open Studios booklets which are currently being distributed throughout the Sunshine Coast.

So if you're an art lover, or even just love a sticky beak, this event is for you! You can snoop on all us!!

I’m part of the hinterland trail, more specifically the Montville trail.

You’ll find my studio setup at 20 Bunya Pine Pl, Woombye.

Not only will I be exhibiting current original artworks and selling my new collection of hand-crafted clay home decor and prints, I will also be sharing the whole journey. Yep! That's right! You can literally flip through my old sketchbooks and see how I began my artistic pursuits. You get THE backstage pass. 

Let me just say: we don't all start out as artistic prodigies! 

This is massive for me! Open Studios is my debut into displaying (and selling!!) my creations in person. Colour of October's home has always been on the web, but now the "culmination of expression," as I like to call it, is spreading it's wings into the face-to-face domain. And this is just the start!
